UPSC ESE 2021 final result declared; Kartikay Kaushik secures AIR 1

The final results for the Engineering Services Exam (ESE), 2021, have been officially announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Out of the 225 reported vacancies, a total of 194 candidates have successfully secured positions. Aspirants who underwent the engineering services 2021 interview can access their results on the official website – upsc.gov.in.

Kartikay Kaushik has emerged as the topper, clinching the prestigious All India Rank 1. Following closely, Radhe Shyam Tiwari secured the second position, and Devesh Kumar Dewangan attained the third rank. Among the 194 candidates selected, 77 have been recommended for civil engineering, 34 for mechanical engineering, 54 for electrical engineering, and 29 for electronics and telecommunication engineering.

For 29 recommended candidates, their candidature is provisional, pending the verification of original documents. This provisional status will be valid for a period of three months, expiring on July 27, 2022. Simultaneously, a reserve list comprising 58 candidates has also been established.

The allocation of selected candidates to various Services/Posts will be determined based on their ranks and the preferences of Services they have indicated.
