The UPSC has postponed the announcement of the Combined Medical Services Exam 2020. The notification for the Combined Medical Services exam which was supposed to be released on July 22 , has now been postponed to July 29, 2020.
UPSC Postpones Combined Medical Services Exam 2020 Notification
As per the UPSC calendar notice, the Combined Medical Services Exam 2020 will be scheduled for October 22.
The Combined Medical Services exam by UPSC, is mainly held for the selection to ,Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordinance Factories Health Services, Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council and General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The candidate’s upper age limit is 32 years and should have passed the written and practical parts of their final MBBS examination. The age limit is relaxed for candidates in other reserved categories.
The exam will be a computer based one which will carry 500 marks, and a personality test for 100 marks. The syllabus for this computer based exam will be similar to the MBBS one.
