UPSC or Union Public Service Commission is the largest government body in India that looks after competitive examination in India. It conducts Civil Service Exams every year for the recruitment of professionals for different government organizations including Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Forest Service, and more. Recently, the Union Public Service Commission of India has activated or launched a new service called the Civil Services Withdrawal Application Link and this link is now available on its official website that the candidate can check. This is the service or link which is added for the candidates who have made up their mind to not appear for the upcoming UPSC exam. Through this link, candidates will be able to withdraw their applications now and for this, they have to visit the official website of UPSC.

However, before proceeding with the withdrawal process candidates are required to read all the important guidelines and instructions available on the website. The Withdrawal Application Facility is made available for the candidates from the 12th of March 2020 and it will be available online till the 18th of March 2020. What is the Process to Withdraw Application?
To withdraw the application, candidates are required to provide all the necessary details of the registered application that they have submitted at the time of registering for the exam. Candidates are required to provide details like email ID, registered phone number, and other details that they have submitted at the time of online application.
Upon successful submission of the details, candidates will receive an OTP in the registered mobile number which will be valid up to 30 minutes. If the candidate has not received the OTP within 10 minutes, they need to request for OTP again for the second time. The application withdraw process will be available till 18th of March 2020 and all candidates who want to withdraw their application need to do it before it expires
What Should Be Done After Submitting the Withdrawal?
After successfully completing the withdrawal procedure, candidates are requested to take a printout of the online withdrawal application which they may use for future references.
Auto-generated SMS and email will be sent to the registered email and mobile number of the candidate. They need to keep this message for future references.
This year UPSC will conduct Civil Service IAS/IFS Exam 2020 on 13th May 2020 and the admit cards will be made available 3 weeks prior to the exam.
