SSC CHSL Tier 1 Admit Card 2020: Staff Selection Commission of India will be conducting CHSL or Combined Higher Secondary Level Tier-I Exam 2020, from March 17 to 28, 2020 for the 4893 posts of Junior Secretariat, Lower Divisional Clerk, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operators. For these exams, CHSL Admit Cards have been uploaded by the Commission on the regional websites of all the regions. It is highly advisable that candidates keep themselves updated about the upload of admit cards of SSC exams for their regions, as many times candidates miss the dates of exams or downloading the admit cards due to not checking the regional websites regularly. Information regarding the examination centre, its address, date of exam, etc. is provided on the admit card of each student. Also, no admit cards are sent by posts at the addresses of candidates by SSC, so candidates have to download their admit cards themselves and carry the printed copies of their admit cards to the examination centre.
Essentials to bring to examination centers with admit cards
Besides Admit Cards, candidates are also required to bring along some other essentials with them to the examination hall for various purposes such as attendance, verification, etc. Thus, along with the SSC CHSL 2020 admit card, candidates will have to bring minimum two recent color photographs of theirs in passport size. Also, an original and valid Photo ID proof which has the date of birth of candidate as it is on the SSC CHSL 2020 admit card is required to brought along.
In case the photo ID card does not show the date of birth, then an additional document, as proof of date of birth, will be required to be carried by the candidate. This could be birth certificate, marks sheet issued by ISCE/CBSE/State boards, matriculation certificate, or category certificate.
SSC CHSL Exam Pattern
The CHSL exam conducted by SSC comprises of our sections of are Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Each of these carries equal number of questions with equal weightage of marks, i.e. 25 questions in each section carrying 50 marks. Also, there is negative marking of 0.5 for each wrong answer. Hence, the candidates should focus most on maintaining their speed and not sacrificing the accuracy, as it can cost them a lot of marks.
