NRA CET 2020-21: The government of India will be conducting the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for recruitments in all the departments of the government. The score will be used as a preliminary factor for the next level of examination. The test scores will be valid for a period of three years only. There will be no need for the aspirants to fill different applications for various exams as they can prepare for a single exam now.

National Recruitment Agency (NRA)
A National Recruitment Agency is the proposed agency by the government of India Now, candidates need to take only a single computer-based preliminary examination for all the non-gazetted government posts. The agency will be monitoring all the activities of the Common Eligibility Test.
The government is taking the initiative for giving only one single exam for all the Group B and C posts. This will help the candidates as they don’t have to prepare for many preliminary exams again and again.
Exams Under CET
All the prelims exams of Group B and C posts will now be subsumed in this single exam which is the common eligibility test (CET). The National Recruitment Agency will aim at replacing the preliminary exams of Group B and C posts conducted by the below government agencies namely:
➤ Staff Selection Commission (SSC),
➤ Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and
➤ Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
Aspirants now need to give only a single preliminary examination for the exams conducted by the above agencies.
NRA CET 2020-21: Key Points
➤ A single prelims will be held for all the IBPS, SSC, and RRB posts.
➤ The NRA will be an autonomous body for conducting this exam.
➤ A one time fee is applicable for the CET exam.
➤ NRA will be the agency that conducts the CET examination- Common Eligibility Test.
➤ CET will be the single online prelims exam and its scsore will be valid for three years.
➤ The will be shared with all the central government recruiting agencies.
➤ Each candidate will get two additional chances to improve their scores and the best scores will be taken into consideration.
➤ Every district will have at least one exam center to ensure all candidates get an opportunity.
➤ There will be a separate CET for graduate, higher secondary, and secondary level students.
➤ There will also be a separate syllabus for CET based on the qualification.
➤ As per the PIB, the score of successful candidates of CET can be utilized by State Governments also.

As of now, there is no defined exam pattern and syllabus for the CET. Candidates are advised to check the website for all the updates regarding the CET exam pattern and Syllabus.
There will be different exam pattern and syllabus for the graduate, senior secondary, and secondary level exams.
